Cowboys have second-worst record among NFC West teams this season

By MARGARET A. CLARK and MARGORET ROSS-BROWNAssociated Press – BALTIMORE (AP) There was a little bit of a catchphrase going around the NFL, so Cowboys fans knew they were getting their first glimpse of new head coach Jason Garrett before the season.

“Jason is a new hire, a new guy, a young guy,” receiver Dez Bryant said.

“But he’s going to bring a lot of energy and a lot to this team.”

Jason Garrett was a big name in Dallas, but he’s got his own brand.

And he’s bringing it in a big way.

Jason Garrett has his own style.

He’s a young coach who’s been around the league a long time.

And his style of play is exactly what the Cowboys are looking for in the coming season.

The Cowboys are 1-3, and they have lost six of their past seven games and seven of nine overall.

The team has won three straight games but has not won in four consecutive seasons since winning five straight from 2009-2011.

They’re the first team since the 2009 NFL season to win back-to-back division titles since the New England Patriots in 2012 and New York Giants in 2014.

The team has lost two of three since Garrett took over.

He was hired after the Cowboys hired Mike Shanahan, who was fired after a disappointing season.

Garrett said he was looking to change a culture that was so negative toward players.

He was fired with a 1-10 record and two division titles.

But the Cowboys have found a way to make some changes with a new coach.

They had two first-round draft picks, three second-round picks and a third-round pick in the upcoming draft.

They also have the best defense in the NFC and are on pace to play in their first playoff game since the 1999 season.
